Oki (hello) my name is Veronica Lefebvre and I am the Indigenous Student Recruitment Officer at Concordia University in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. I am of Blackfoot, French and English ancestry and have been working in various roles at post-secondary institutions for more than ten years. I am a first generation learner and alumni from Concordia, where I obtained an honors degree in anthropology. In my role, I attempt to help de-mystify parts of the post-secondary system and make it accessible to more Indigenous learners, educators and community partners. I have been working with the APSIP collective for about 5 years now in various roles, and always look forward to the progress we are making as a group and making education more accessible.
