I love to see the post-secondary sectors growing interest in leveraging data to make decisions. The SEMM Forum brought together a diverse group of professionals dedicated to student success!
The SEMM Forum in Vancouver provided a great opportunity for our group of more than 20 colleagues from SFU to spend a day together with industry leaders. It was of great value as it allowed us to access current data and expertise and dialogue with other institutions and each other for a very reasonable cost.
This day was extremely valuable. A great chance to connect with Canadian enrolment management staff and share ideas.
SEMM is a wonderful event that is helping us to develop Canada’s next generation of SEM leaders.
I found the keynotes, breakout sessions, and networking both highly valuable and engaging. It is worth attending, if for the Canadian context alone.
The conference is a beautiful marriage of theory and ideation with tangible, successful best practices to filter through and inform a thoughtful, individualized strategy for each Post-Secondary institution. I appreciate the level of information sharing and cooperation across Canada, all with student success in mind.
What I found really valuable about the SEMM Forum is that the content is all Canadian. This means that a lot more of the learnings are directly applicable to the work we do.
The SEMM Forum was a great venue to generate ideas and validate the good work we are doing. It is well worth the time.
The SEMM Forum is one of Canada’s best opportunities to grow a deep understanding of enrolment management and marketing. The program is top-notch and so are the attendees; rarely do I see this type of high quality interaction between presenters and participants.
The information presented was relevant to a wide range of post-secondary administrators. This is extremely important as communication between all levels of administration such as recruitment, marketing, student services, admissions and all other facets is needed in recruitment, retention and graduation initiatives.
