As a HEQCO senior researcher and manager of the Centre for Learning Outcomes, Jackie oversees projects and explores policy directions to improve the quality of higher education in Ontario. She works with partners at Ontario Colleges and Universities to investigate the development and assessment of skills required for labour market success. Prior to joining HEQCO’s research team, Jackie worked with a private consultancy, serving Indigenous communities with strategy development, policy advice and research, primarily related to education and training. In her pervious roles working in government and academic sectors, Jackie supported evidence-based policy development in areas of international economic development, civic engagement and women’s empowerment. Jackie holds a Master’s of Public Policy from Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Studies from Queen’s University.
